Práce se dřevem pro mě není jen zpracování materiálu, je to neustálý dialog. Cítím jeho vůni, strukturu, texturu a vnímám, čím ten strom byl, než se dostal ke mně do dílny. Když tvořím, neničím jeho původní charakter, ale naopak pomáhám jeho kráse vyniknout a převtělit se do podoby nábytku. Každý stůl nebo židle je tak spojením síly přírody a mého vnitřního světa, které spolu splynuly v jeden harmonický celek.
